When looking at the page with the Duck, the words duck are not in the book at all when it was printed out so I don't know why it showed up here along with the church page. The church is not there anymore when it was printed

Now its final time!
We had to make a book of any kind but no photos can be used, only words. Meaning that if I wanted to have photos in my book I would have to make them out of words and make them any way i wanted to but they would have to be words from the story itself. It sounds easy but it was very hard. I probably spent at least 12+ hours on this book, and that is just with the graphic design part. Not including the binding part of the book itself. I wish I wouldve done it different or if I was able to make it a different way or do it more then once just to see what it looks like in different way or shape. My next post will content the photos for my book.

The last assignment that we did before the final was to re make 4 movie posters in different ways then they were done before. The four movies that I picked were, pulp fiction, willy wonka, titanic, and 300. I picked these movies because I have seen them all and knew I could do something cool or funny with them. For Pulp fiction and titanic I really put my heart into because I love these movies! That's why I didn't make them funny because it wasn't worth my while to do that. With Willy Wonka and 300 I wanted to do something funny and different. I also put a lot of time into these two put it doesn't look like it at all. For pulp fiction I made it a western themed movie and titanic I made it very simply with just the necklace falling done into the ocean. For 300 I made it very girly like almost for a 3 year old and added things that at that age girls would love, and with willy wonka, I made it look like a 1960's movie with the crazy eyes and odd colors . I love them all

You would think that making the alphabet would be something easy to do, well little did I know how hard it would be to take a picture  of different things that spell out the letters in the alphabet and make them all look the same. I like the ideas that I had going into this assignment but when I did them and presented them to the class, I noticed that only one of the three were good. If I could,  would go back and change the other two but in the start they seemed like a good idea. The one that I think I did the best on was the one in the middle the black with gems on it. The others can use some work.

Probably my most favorite assignment is when we had to come up with our own magazine idea and think outside the box when it comes to designing it. Not only did we have to make a cover with bare code and all, but we also had to make a index page along with a article. I had a lot of fun with this project because it let me see how much work and times goes into just making the front cover a magazine without making it look boring or looking cramped up.

Something that was related to this assignment as well was to go around and look for things that look like the letters from the alphabet and the number 1 -10 and also symbols that are found keyboards. This asginment took some time to do because it was hard to think outside of the box and realize that my lap looked like a W. It took along time to look for everything but I'm glad it made me realize that objects don't have to be just that one things, they can represent other things as well.

one of our first assignments was  to look for signs that really popped out to us and made us stop to look at it. These are the things that I caught my eye and all relate back to me.
